The tournament aims to provide novice debaters with more exposure. We believe in according more opportunities for students to debate in front of their peers. Thus, this tournament will be a chance for aspiring young debaters to congregate and gain valuable debating experience. In the interest of helping novice debaters, while this tournament is open to all secondary school students from Secondary 1 - Secondary 4 (or equivalent), we will only allow registration of students who have not attended Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships before
